Vama Veche is situated only 1 km away from the Bulgarian border; the southern point of the Romanian Black Sea Coast and it has witnessed an interesting development. Throughout time, the local spirit was worshiped by its holiday makers who were  passionate about freedom and exquisite holidays and ‘Vama’  was the only place in the country to meet their needs for freedom without oppression.

    Populated with only a handful of ‘gagauzi’ inhabitants in 1811, at present it is witnessing a fast and consistent development of this remote area and it is the pilgrimage place for those who enjoy freedom, wish to escape from the stress of the city life and party with their friends and families.
